Entry Fees, Forms, Waiver
The Bill Braxton Memorial Regatta is a USRowing sanctioned regatta.
Completed waivers for all competitors, volunteers and potential substitutes
for crews are required. Minors (under the age of 18) must have a parent
or guardian complete and sign the minor waiver form. Waivers are available
here.
All entries must be made online at Regatta Central. No entries will be accepted by phone or email. Events that do not have entries from at least three different organizations may be cancelled.
Entry Fees:

Fours/Quads $70
Pairs/Doubles $40
Racing Format
All events are finals, except trophy events:

Memorial Cup (limited to Dad Vail level colleges and universities)
If preliminary heats are needed for these events, they will be scheduled before all other races, at the start of the regatta.
Check-In
• There will be NO check-in at the Boathouse OR at the Canoe Club. Representatives will be available at the Boathouse from 6:30 am until 8:30 am on the morning of the Regatta for last minute lineup changes.
• All waivers MUST be received through Regatta Central or received at the Boathouse BEFORE 5:00 PM, FRIDAY NOVEMBER 9, 2007.
• Complimentary “Philly Snacks”, drinks, and Program Books for competitors will be available at the T-shirt stands near the Canoe Club.
Meeting for Coaches, Coxswains, Referees, and Out-of-Town Crews
A brief meeting for Coaches, coxswains, and particularly out-of-town competitors must attend the referees’ meeting will be held on held the morning of the race at Philadelphia Girls' Rowing Club, #14 Boathouse Row.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 AM. It will run approximately 30 minutes.
At this meeting, coaches should notify the Regatta Director or Chief Referee of any scratches, crew changes, potential health problems (i.e. asthma) or boat constraints. at this meeting.
All questions about the regatta's Rules of Rowing, traffic pattern and general procedures will be addressed at this meeting.
Final changes to the race schedules will be announced at this meeting. Changes will also be posted at #4 Boathouse Row and #14 Boathouse Row the evening prior to the regatta.
Parking
Kelly Drive will be closed for this regatta by 6:30am on the day
of the regatta. Please park "on the diagonal", on Kelley
Drive. Do not park on the grass. The
police will ticket you.
You will need to display your Parking Pass to enter the regatta area. Please keep your Parking Pass displayed in your vehicle at all times, when you are in the regatta area.
Kelly Drive will reopen approximately 45 to 60
minutes after the last event. Remove your vehicles as soon as possible
after the end of the regatta.
First Aid/Emergencies
In the event of an emergency, please notify the Regatta
Director or Chief Referee, or go to the finish line tower.
An ambulance and Emergency Medical Service
staff will be available in the parking lot of the Canoe Club.
An
incident report will be filled out by responsible party, and returned to a Regatta Official.
Lost and Found
There will be a Lost and Found station at the Finish Line.
